On the night of 25th of July, the feast was held in the village of ara. Korula’s most known wine-producing location had celebrations, religious processions such as boat blessing, sword dances – all in all, celebrations that lasted the whole day, because ara celebrated the day of its patron saint, Saint Jacob.
Evening events kicked off with the performance of the musical society Crnomiri. Their last number was accompanied by fireworks display, which amazed the audience.

After Crnomiri, band Primera hit the stage at the nearby venue and kept the people dancing all night.
The village of ara is situated on the inner side of the island, surrounded by the valley with the vineyards which are well known for the wine variety Pošip.
